Petrofac secures $50 million Ithaca Energy contract renewal in UK North Sea

Petrofac has extended its long-running partnership with Ithaca Energy, winning a two-year, $50 million contract renewal to provide integrated services across the operator’s UK North Sea portfolio.

The agreement will see Petrofac continue delivering operations, maintenance, engineering, construction, and both onshore and offshore technical support. Ithaca’s operated assets covered under the scope include the Alba, Captain, Erskine and FPF-1 fields.

The companies’ relationship stretches back to 2011, with Petrofac’s teams embedded on Ithaca’s assets for more than a decade. The contract renewal underscores Ithaca’s commitment to safe, efficient and reliable production in a mature basin facing both operational and economic challenges.

Petrofac said the extension reaffirms the North Sea as one of its core markets, highlighting the continued role of integrated service providers in sustaining output and extending the productive life of UK offshore infrastructure.
